Rohan is an engineering graduate with a post graduate management degree from University of Pune. He learnt the ropes of the business rising up the ranks in CMS Computers and Xerox, before moving to GBM/ IBM in 2002 where he first displayed his management and marketing abilities by setting up their output management division in Dubai.

Three years later he was absorbed by the parent IBM and moved to India where his potential was recognized and he was elevated to the position “Regional Sales Manager – Asean / South Asia” with the clear mandate to set up the production print business for the region specifically targeting the enterprises, public sector and the SME sector. Over the next two years Rohan ensured the division grew at a rate of 50% setting regional benchmarks.

In June 2007, based on his performance record, Rohan was promoted to head the printing division of IBM for India / South Asia as “General Manager”. His critical mandate for this assignment was to lead the transition from the erstwhile IBM Printing Systems to the technological superiority of the newly formed JV InfoPrint Solutions Company Pte. Ltd. (Ricoh being the other JV partner).

At InfoPrint his business role is to evangelize the new technology in India within the enterprise sector and create a demand for these revolutionary output management solutions that were ready to handle the massive CRM and Billing requirements of a fast growing India. Within a space of two short years Rohan has been able to clearly establish InfoPrint as the leading technology and solutions provider in output management and as firmly established his organization as the first choice for this segment.

What makes Rohan tick? It is a mix of many elements - his knowledge of technology and the market place, his ability to empathize with pain points of organizations. At InfoPrint he is seen as the performer and the strategist. And his leadership role in this exploding marketplace cannot be undermined.
