Prasun Banerjee has over 25 years of sales & marketing experience & is currently Director Consumer Electronics at Haier Appliances. He is responsible for building brand value by driving long term revenues and profits and creating marketing initiatives for distribution expansion. Previously, Mr. Banerjee was a Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing at Sharp India Ltd . Prior to that, he was General Manager at Eureka Forbes, Home Store Division spearheading operations in consumer durable retail with a focus on store identification and opening, vendor approval process, store operating procedures, training, footfall conversion and revenue generation from sales and rentals. Before, Mr. Banerjee was an Assistant General Manager at Sony, handling channel development and sales and marketing operations. He helped in building the foundation for an exclusive Retail chain called Sony World. Earlier, Mr. Banerjee was a Market Operations Manager at Philips.
Mr Banerjee is a graduate from St Xavier’s College Kolkata & has completed Global Business Leaders Management program from IMD Lausanne Switzerland.
