Nitin is a senior marketing professional with over 13 years of experience of working with brands across aviation, media, consulting and Internet companies. He has extensive
experience of both B2B & consumer marketing with expertise in marketing strategy, integrated marketing communications, market research, analytics & corporate communications.
In his current role as Senior Director of Marketing, Nitin is responsible for leading marketing for Yahoo! India. He is part of Yahoo! India leadership team and directs all
consumer, brand and B2B marketing efforts. He also oversees corporate communications for Yahoo! in India. In his short tenure at Yahoo! India, he has played in a key role in launching of several new products, a consumer focused integrated brand campaign and several key B2B marketing initiatives to influence the advertiser ecosystem.
Prior to joining Yahoo! , Nitin was Director of Marketing at Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE), a global technology and interactive marketing consulting firm. As a member of Sapient’s
marketing leadership team, his role entailed developing marketing strategy and programs to enhance brand leadership and drive revenues. He was also responsible for the CRM and analytics functions globally. As the leader of the marketing team in India,
Nitin played a key role in transitioning multiple global marketing functions to India focused at driving business in Sapient’s client markets in North America and Europe.
Prior to joining Sapient, Nitin was a Product Manager at Times Internet Limited (www.indiatimes.com), part of Times of India group where he played a key role in launching and growing Indiatimes e‐commerce business. During the height of the Internet boom in India, Nitin had a short stint with Indiainfo.com, a leading Indian portal as a Business Manager Alliances. He started his career with corporate group at Sahara, where he managed marketing and communication programs for group’s aviation business.
Nitin holds Bachelors degree in Statistics & Economics and a Post Graduate Diploma in
Business Management.
