Ms. Nita Kapoor heads the Marketing and CSR at Godfrey Phillips India.
 
She believes that brands can and do make an impact in people's lives. To be able to do achieve these marketers must be in constant touch with the consumers and marketplace. The ultimate measurement of a brands impact is when its consumers are willing to pay a premium.
 
At Godfrey Phillips India, Nita oversees the portfolio of Tobacco, Tea & Confectionary categories. She has successfully helped these iconic brands to evolve with time and be responsible towards the changing consumers of India.
 
She also remodelled Godfrey Phillips Bravery – Company’s celebrated CSR initiative. Godfrey Phillips Bravery Awards recognizes the acts of common people; irrespective of their age, gender or faith. Nita holds the credit for ideating Amodini - A Women’s Empowerment Initiative by Godfrey Phillips Bravery.
 
Prior to Godfrey Phillips, in her long association with Mudra, she spearheaded some memorable brand campaigns such as, ‘Hamko Binnies Mangta’ ‘I Love You Rasna’, ‘Mobil’, ‘Mc Donalds’ and ‘Nestle Milk Products’.
 
Nita has done a Management Programme from IIM Ahmedabad, and an Advance Management Programme from Harvard Business School.
