Till a few years ago, Max New York Life was the case of a company where Business was leading the Brand. While strong business organization fundamentals had taken MNYL to its a leading position in the Private Life Insurance Market, Mindshare lagged Marketshare.
 
With an agenda to ensure that the business performance and consumer perceptions came at par and together take the MNYL mission forward, Anisha joined MNYL back in 2007.
 
Today the Max New York Life brand is healthier & stronger and the company is closer to its ambition of becoming the “most admired” in the business.
 
Prior to joining Max New York Life, as Director-Marketing at General Motors, Anisha was instrumental in driving the company’s strategy of phasing out the GM & Opel brands and establishing the Chevrolet brand as the face of GM in India. During her tenure, GM was recognized with the best “Auto Marketing Team Award” for 2006 by NDTV Profit.
 
Anisha also carries a rich & diverse experience from 15 year stint in some of the leading advertising agencies in India where she was the custodian of brands like Thums-Up, Coca-Cola, Dabur, Airtel & Voltas, Nestle, Reckitts and Pepsi Lays etc.
 
In addition to her professional commitments she is a frequent contributor to various business publications and key marketing and industry forums like CII, AIMA and some leading business schools in the country. Recently, Business Today identified her as one of the 10 “Rising Stars” amongst the Most Powerful Women in Indian Business.
 
As a passionate marketer, Anisha likes to probe beyond the obvious and has a penchant for being driven by consumer insight more than anything else. Anisha is a full time mother with two lovely kids, Prerna (21) & Prithvi (12).
