| He is well known in the Oil Industry for his knowledge and expertise in the cross country pipeline projects. He is credited with creating a Pipelines Division in HPCL and successfully completed several Pipeline Projects and was responsible for smooth transition from APM to Non-APM era in the area of Product sales, Supplies and Distribution. |

| Shri S. Roy Choudhury, is holding additional responsibility as Director of M/s HMEL, a JV of HPCL and MEI, Singapore an L.N. Mittal Group company. HMEL is constructing a 9 MMTPA capacity greenfield grassroot State of the Art refinery at Bhatinda, Punjab. The project is slated for commissioning by March, 2011. |

| He is the Chairman of SALPG, which ranks among the deepest caverns in the World and the largest LPG storage capacity in the country. Under his leadership, the SALPG cavern has eased storage constraints on east coast, ensured smooth availability of LPG in the supply zone and achieved volume of 58 TMT of LPG during the first year of operation in 2008-09. |

He is also a member of Industry bodies, viz. Petrofed Governing Council & member of Petrofed Search Committee. |

| After assuming responsibility as Director-Marketing in May 2004, Shri S. Roy Choudhury has improved the performance of the vast HPCL marketing network controlled through 13 Zonal offices in major cities and 95 Regional Offices supported by a Supply & Distribution infrastructure comprising of Pipelines, Terminals, Aviation Service Stations, LPG Bottling Plants, and Inland Relay Depots & Retail Outlets, Lube and LPG Distributorships. During the tenure, HPCL has moved from strength to strength on all marketing fronts, consolidated market share, emerged as a significant player in this space and has maintained excellent performance through all the years. |
